Tehran (IP) - Iran's Education Minister and the visiting Syria's Culture Minister discussed Tuesday the means of bolstering educational and cultural bilateral relations.

Iran PressIran news: During a meeting in Tehran, Yousef Nouri gave a presentation on the Iranian ministry’s programs and activities across the country to support talents, the film industry, and animation dedicated to children.

He pointed out to experience exchange between both countries by taking the advantage of the internet search engine launched by Iran that is specialized for children, besides benefiting from the successful Syrian experience in teaching the Arabic language.

Lubana Mshaweh, for his part, declared that the ministry undertook a literacy task to support the Ministry of Education, through directorates of the Child Culture, Adult Education, and Cultural Development, to afford education to forcibly displaced children and adults affected by the crisis through UNESCO Program supporting the education in Syria.

Mshaweh drew attention to nurturing the artistic and musical talents of children aged between 6-17 in Syria as well as submitting academic curriculums. 

The two sides agreed upon exchanging experiences in various fields related to child development during the Iranian Culture Week held in Damascus.
