The Armenian Prime Minister held a phone call with the Russian President to discuss recent border clashes with Azerbaijan.

Iran PressAsia: After a large-scale military provocation by the Armenian Armed Forces against Azerbaijan, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a phone call to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trend reports with reference to Armenian media.

In the statement made by the Armenian government, it was reported that Pashinyan discussed the recent conflicts on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border in his phone call with Putin.

It was also stated in the Armenian press that Pashinyan convened the Security Council at the government building at night.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan announced that the Armenian army made extensive provocations in the evening hours of the border in the Dashkesen, Kelbajar and Lachin directions.
