Iraq (IP) - Some Arbaeen pilgrims in Iraq and the border areas of Iran have suffered from heatstroke due to the extreme heat.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iran and Iraq are trying to prevent pilgrims from facing problems due to the extreme heat.

The Ehsan Al-Hussein (AS) ambulatory ice-making factory affiliated with the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) organization distributes ice for free in Iraq these days so that water and other cool drinks are available to pilgrims in the extreme heat of summer.

Four ice-making machines of the factory have been installed on Karbala and Mehran borders, and each machine produces 250 ice cubic molds per day for the pilgrims.

For the well-being of Arbaeen pilgrims, Iran has established health and treatment facilities at the border terminals, as well as Iran's emergency department and 5 field hospitals at the international border of Mehran.
