Expressing his satisfaction with his first trip to the continent of Africa and Mali, Amir-Abdollahian added: "The two countries have long-standing financial relations, and Iran is serious about developing relations as much as possible, and the fact that we are in Bamako today shows Tehran's special attention."
Iranian top diplomat noted: "We have a clear road map for the relations between the two countries, and this makes our diplomatic responsibility more difficult, and my colleagues in Tehran and Bamako will help to improve these relations as soon as possible."
Amir-Abdollahian continued: "The interference of some countries outside the region is the reason for the formation of some terrorist groups in West Asia and Africa, and we believe that the explicit use of terrorism should be abandoned and countries should be allowed to act independently." 219
