Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah stressed that the Israeli enemy was very clear on Sunday that it wanted to reach a ceasefire because it could not take any more missiles from Gaza.

Iran PressMiddle East: Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said: "I praise the courage of Palestine to respond because if the assassination of Martyr al-Jabari remained unanswered, the Zionist regime would have continued their aggression."

The Secretary General of Hezbollah of Lebanon added: "The resistance and stability of the people of Gaza should be praised."

He said: The resistance in Palestine, like Lebanon, was able to defend its nation and proved new equations in support and deterrence and imposing its conditions on the Zionist enemy.

Nasrallah also hailed the brave mujahidin who confronted the Israeli aggression on Gaza, underling the steadfastness of the Palestinian civilians in the blockaded Strip.

Nasrallah considered that this battle confirms again that the Resistance movements in Palestine, Lebanon, or any other country can confront the Israeli military power and maintain the balance of deterrence in face of the enemy.

“If you advance in the battle against this monstrous enemy, it backs off; however, if you retreat, it attacks you.

This agreement was implemented at 23:30 local time (Monday morning Tehran time) and with the mediation of Egypt.

Rockets landed on different areas of occupied Palestine following the all-out attacks of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip on Friday evening, during which 43 Palestinians, including 15 children, were martyred and 311 others were injured.
