At least one person has been killed, and 45 are injured and several are feared trapped under rubble after a fire caused several blasts at a market in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

Iran PressAsia: According to the emergency ministry of Armenia, the fires started at a firework market and led to at least two strong explosions.

Photos and videos posted on social media showed a thick column of black smoke over the market as successive explosions could be heard.

The emergency ministry said at least 45 people were injured in the blasts.

Firefighters were struggling to contain the blaze as fireworks continued detonating,.
