Tehran (IP) – Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization announced that the Iranian-flagged tanker, Lana, embarked on reloading its confiscated oil by the United States in Greece last night.

Iran PressIran News: At the behest of the United States, the Greek government seized the shipment of Lana belonging to a private Iranian company in May, the Managing Director of Ports and Maritime Organization said.

Ali-Akbar Safaei noted that at that time, the Iranian-flagged oil tanker was at the Greek coast due to technical failure.

He stated that the Greek court released the cargo of Lana after the Islamic Republic of Iran took the necessary measures to follow up on the case.

The return of the confiscated oil cargo, which had been transferred to a tanker hired by the US, started after the Iranian tanker was repaired.
