Iran Press/ Iran news: In a meeting with Iranian authorities, economic organizations, and private sector operators in Khorasan Province on Wednesday, Kyrgyz envoy to Tehran, Turdakun Sydykov, said that cooperation between production sections of the two countries would expand bilateral ties and increase the volume of commodity exchange.
Sydykov noted that Soon, two commodities fairs would be held in Bishkek and Osh, where the presence of Iranian companies will help to introduce the capabilities of Iran's production and export sector, as well as the development of relations and exchanges of goods between the two countries.
For his part, the Chairman of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Gholam Hossein Shafei, said Iran and Kyrgyzstan had had long-term relationships, adding that Iran was the first to recognize Kyrgyzstan's independence.
He added that expansion of bilateral ties depends on removing investment obstacles and increasing commodity and service exchanges between the two countries.
Shafei said that regarding its economic rules, Kyrgyzstan is one of the advanced Central Asian countries and has been improving in investment and economic arenas.
He concluded that Iran had improved its capabilities in mining, food industry, transportation, irrigation projects and chemical fertilizers and could have constructive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in these areas.
