Tehran (IP)- Iran's Interior Minister says that Tehran is ready to cooperate with Damascus to file a lawsuit to international forums against the actions against infrastructure, environment, and human crimes of the intervening powers in Syria.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Interior Minister met with Syria's Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Hussein Makhlouf, on Wedensday, July 13, 2022, at the Interior Ministry to discuss how to fight dust storms hitting the two countries and elsewhere in the region and the ways to expand bilateral ties.

Pointing out that the Syrian government and nation are in an unequal war with the world's dominant powers, Ahmad Vahidi stated: Terrorists are committing crimes and occupations with the support of the intervening forces in Syria.

He continued: Western countries use human rights as a tool, and today, with the support of these countries, public security and industrial and agricultural infrastructure have been destroyed.

Referring to the environmental conference of neighboring countries in Tehran, he expressed hope that this conference will be practical and a ground for deeper and more strategic cooperation between neighboring countries involved in environmental issues.

Stating that managing natural and environmental crises is a suitable way for more cooperation between the two sides, Vahidi clarified: that Iran and Syria must implement a common solution to solve the sandstorm challenge.

Syria's Minister of Local Administration and Environment called the exchange of experiences a factor for further strengthening the relations between the two countries in various fields, adding: Iran's support for Syria in the fight against terrorists and also, Syria's support for Iran in the imposed war against it indicates the deep and strategic relations between Tehran and Damascus.

Hussein Makhlouf added: that Iran's support for Syria in the fight against terrorists and Syria's position in the imposed war against Iran shows the deep and strategic relations between Tehran and Damascus.

Raisi: Iran opposes any foreign intervention in Syria

Syria's Minister of Local Administration and Environment pointed out that the US is looting Syria's resources hostage and causing environmental pollution.

Makhlouf also called for strengthening cooperation in urban and environmental management issues with Iran.

Syria's Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Hussein Makhlouf, arrived in Tehran on Sunday at the head of a delegation to hold talks with the Iranian officials and participate in the conference on environmental cooperation for a better future to reach solutions to national and regional environmental challenges.
