Gunmen shooted at a staff car at Mazar-e-Sharif Airport in Afghanistan's Balkh province, killing at least two people and injuring six others.

Iran PressAsia: Different parts of Afghanistan have witnessed numerous terrorist attacks and explosions in recent months, resulting in hundreds of people being killed and injured. Most of these terrorist attacks and explosions have been carried out by the ISIS terrorist group.

According to the Iran Press News Agency,  the Taliban security commander in Balkh province said that shooting by unknown individuals at a car carrying employees of Balkh airport left two dead and six wounded.

The incident took place this Sunday afternoon in the 10th district of Mazar-e-Sharif, the capital of Balkh province in northern Afghanistan, for the airport staff on the way back to their homes.

So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Today's attacks came when media reports from Afghanistan said yesterday (Saturday) that six people were killed and two more were wounded in an explosion in the capital Kabul.
