Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's top diplomat, Hossein Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Muzaffar Huseynzoda.
Expressing satisfaction with the upcoming visit of the Tajik President to Tehran, he described it as important in developing relations between the two countries.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan enjoy many historical, civilizational, cultural and language commonalities, and this strong capacity will pave the way for the further expansion of relations, he added.
Meanwhile, Huseynzoda emphasized the importance of relations between the two countries in various fields, and offered readiness for developing relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. 219
