Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that COVID-19 had taken the lives of 12 patients during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 141,189.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from the beginning of the pandemic to May 09, 2022, 7,225,759 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 7,008,231 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 570 cases, of whom 91 were hospitalized. 854 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 51,539,372 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no city is red, four are orange, 319 are Yellow, and 125 are zones.

Also, 64,387,668 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,633,026 have received the second dose, 27,177,519 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 149,198,213 doses.
