Iran Press/ America: The 24th Summer Deaflympics kicked off on Sunday, May 01, 2022, and will be wrapped up on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
At the end of the sixth day of the competition (Saturday), the Iranian deaf football team won two games, beating Italy 2-0 and the Netherlands 4-0.
In beach volleyball, Iran defeated Germany 2-1, and in its second and third matches, the Iranian team conquered Estonia and Japan to be among the top eight.
Overall, at the end of the sixth day of the competitions on Saturday, Iran has so far won 6 gold, 6 silver, and 6 bronze medals in different sports categories, including karate, taekwondo Poomsae and Judo.
