Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Minister of Oil referring to deep relations between Iran and Venezuela emphasized that Iran wants to use all its capacities to develop relations and further joint cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's oil minister, Javad Owji, wrote on his Twitter account on Tuesday: "Today (Tuesday) we had meetings with the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, and other high-ranking Venezuelan officials."

The Minister of Oil said that the relations between Iran and Venezuela enjoy a deep historical background and added: "We want to use all our capacities to develop relations and joint cooperation."

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji met on Tuesday to discuss ways to overcome the impact of US sanctions on both countries.

Referring to a constructive meeting with Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji, Maduro wrote on his Twitter account that ways to strengthen fraternal relations and cooperation on energy issues were discussed.
