Ahwaz (IP) – The police commander of Iran's Khuzestan Province announced the demolition of two arms smuggling gangs in the province.

Iran PressIran news: Brigadier-General Mohammad Salehi stated that the intelligence and public security police officers of Khuzestan were informed about the activities of two arms smuggling gangs in Ahwaz city.

He added that Iranian police officers, through continuous intelligence monitoring, identified the hideouts and commute of three key elements of these gangs and arrested them in two separate operations after coordinating with the judicial authority.

The police commander of Khuzestan Province pointed out that 62 handguns, an AK-47, 122 gun magazines, and a vehicle were seized during the operation.
