Palestine (IP) - Palestinian women stressed that they would continue to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque to liberate it from the occupation of the Israeli regime.

Iran PressMiddle East: Every year during Ramadan month, the Israeli settlers and troops storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque and escalate clashes with the Palestinian worshipers.

A group of Palestinian women living in Al-Quds talked with an Iran Press correspondent about the latest developments in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Khadja Khuais used IP as a tribune and called on the Palestinian youth and those who could come to the mosque to stay in the holy site and resist the Israeli settlers' attack on it.

Nafisa Khuais told IP about the Iftar banquets in Al-Aqsa Mosque's courtyards, where people pray for the liberation of the mosque.

Ayida al-Saidawi also pointed to the Israeli troops' attack on the women in the holy place, stressing that Al-Aqsa Mosque was invaluable to the Palestinians and that the women still defend the mosque steadfastly to liberate it from the occupiers.

The Israeli regime's troops attacked the Palestinian worshipers gathered in Al-Aqsa Mosque on Friday, April 15, 2022, firing rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at them during the assault early morning.

Following the Israeli forces' attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque, at least 152 Palestinian people were injured, and 400 were arrested.
