Tehran (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran says the country's power and advancement will not leave the Israeli regime undisturbed.

Iran PressIran news: On the occasion of the Iranian National Day of Army on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi said the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini assigned the day for the army support of the Iranian nation as a revolutionary one. 

"The Zionist regime knows that even their slightest movement is monitored by our armed forces, and if they make any mistake, the destination of our armed forces will be the heart of the Zionist regime, and the power of our armed forces will not leave them calm," Raisi waned the Israeli regime.

He referred to the army's record and noted that it had performed excellently during the Sacred Defense against the 8-year imposed war on Iran through the sea, air, and ground. 

Noting that the army was always beside the people in any incident, the president said that during the coronavirus pandemic, the army and the armed forces did very well in providing good facilities to the people.

Raisi stressed that the Iranian nation would never forget the sacrifices the army made for the nation and would always remember it with honor and elegance.  

Today, April 18, 2022, is the National Day of Army in Iran. The occasion is celebrated annually in Iran.  

A parade is underway to mark Iran's Army achievements and sacrifice since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution, especially during the Sacred Defense, which began on Monday morning with the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi and senior commanders of the Armed Forces near the shrine of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini.

In the ceremony, the Army Combat and Armored Units, Air Force Helicopters, Air Force fighters, air defense weapons, defense systems, and mobile naval equipment, and the latest achievements of the Iranian Army were paraded. The achievements and indigenous-made UAVs, missiles, air, sea, and land equipment were also displayed at the event.
