Following several days of suspension caused by Israeli airstrikes on Iranian soil, Iran’s major airports largely reopened and resumed air traffic starting Friday morning, July 4th.

Why it matters:

Resuming flights is a critical step toward restoring normalcy, which proves the situation is returning to normal life after 12 days of imposed war on Iran by Israel.

The big picture:

Iranian aviation authorities halted all local and international flights just after the Israeli aggression on Iran for passengers' safety and security.

Key points:

  • All flights are done between 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Only Isfahan and Tabriz airports are out of service.
