Tehran (IP)- Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman condemned the Zionist attack on Palestinians in the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.

Iran PressIran News: The Israeli regime's troops attacked the Palestinian worshipers gathered in al-Aqsa Mosque, firing rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas, and stun grenades at them during the assault in the early morning. The regime's troops have also stormed into the mosque and attacked the worshipers, injuring and arresting people.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh, warned on Friday about the continuation of the brutal and terrorist acts of the occupiers in Palestine, saying: "The crimes of the Zionists against the oppressed people show the growing weakness of the regime." "To cover up these weaknesses, the Zionist regime is displaying its powerlessness in front of defenseless worshipers."

Khatibzadeh added that the Zionist crimes, which are a gross violation of international law and human rights, show that the betrayal of some leaders of Islamic countries in normalizing relations with the fake Zionist regime does not moderate the behavior of the innately bloodthirsty regime. On the contrary, it intensifies the regime's atrocities against the Palestinians.
