Tehran (IP) - The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) predicts that at least $ 50 billion will be invested in the country's nuclear and technology fields over the next 15 years.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), explained the plans for the 16th National Anniversary of Nuclear Technology at a press conference on Wednesday.

In an interview with Iran Press, Mohammad Eslami said that on the eve of the new century, all axes of the country's nuclear technology were aimed to be achieved so that a plan could be made in a completely different range than in the past with the priority of having a more positive impact on people's lives. 

Eslami pointed out: "Iran's nuclear energy is 50 years old; Prior to the Islamic Revolution, contracts and agreements were concluded to build a 20,000 MW nuclear power plant, but due to various reasons and with the victory of the Islamic Revolution, anything did not take place." 

He said: "No country other than Russia, which has signed the Bushehr agreement, cooperated with Iran in nuclear industry." 

Given Iran's good nuclear technology advantages and outstanding achievements, Mohammad Eslami invited both the private sector, Iranians abroad, and other investors and companies to invest in Iran.
