Kermanshah (IP) – Kermanshah hosted 'Tourism route of Iranian history and civilization on Nowruz World' with the city's officials attending the event.

Iran PressIran news: The "Tourism route of Iranian history and civilization on Nowruz World" ceremony aims to introduce Iran's sightseeing and attractive sights.

The ceremony in Kermanshah was held in two sites; one part was held in Bisotun, which is one of the outstanding works of the province, a proof of the valuable antiquity and history of the province.

Bisotun is registered internationally.

The next part of the ceremony was also held at Anahita Temple, the second glorious stone building after Persepolis in Iran, constructed on a natural hill by using the platform method.

The temple's construction has been attributed to Iran's Achaemenid, Parthian, and Sassanid eras.

Kermanshah is the capital of Kermanshah Province, located 525 kilometers from Tehran, in the western part of Iran. With more than 1,000,000, Kermanshah has a moderate and mountainous climate.

In the tourism route entitled "History and Civilization of Iran," three famous Iranian cities, Hamedan, Kermanshah, and Sanandaj, would be visited, depicting Nowruz rituals.
