Yerevan (IP): The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade arrived in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, together with the head of the Trade Development Organization and a group of economic activists to pursue memoranda of understanding (MoU) and conclude trade agreements.

Iran PressAsia: Common cultural, social, and friendly ties between Iran and Armenia have provided the grounds for the development and deepening of relations between the two countries.

"Reza Fatemi Amin," Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, said: "During his visit to Armenia, the focus is on joint ventures so that Iranian companies can invest in Armenia, and this country is a base for production and Export to other countries.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade considered Armenia's membership in Eurasia an opportunity for trade with this country and stated: "The deepening of economic relations is achieved through joint ventures."

Fatemi Amin said that the economies of Iran and Armenia are complementary and the two countries can help each other in different areas of trade and different technologies, adding: "In a meeting with Armenian officials, during which a group of Iranian economic activists are also present, cooperation between the two countries will be exchanged.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran stated: "Expanding relations with neighbors is one of the priorities of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in recent months, efforts have been made to expand Iran's relations with Oman, Qatar, Syria, UAE and Armenia."
