Rawalpindi (IP) – On the fourth day of his official visit to Pakistan, the commander of the Iranian Air Force met with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff and discussed strengthening cooperation.

Iran PressAsia: A military delegation from Iran, headed by the Commander of the Army Air Force, Brigadier-General Hamid Vahedi, arrived in Pakistan's Islamabad last Sunday to pay a four-day official visit.

During a meeting on Wednesday in Rawalpindi, Brigadier-General Vahedi and Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed the latest developments in bilateral cooperation, in particular the development of ties between the Iranian and Pakistani armed forces.

In this meeting, General Vahedi considered strengthening defense and military cooperation between Iran and Pakistan as important.

After meeting, the Iranian military delegation headed for the College of Flying Training at Risalpur, Nowshera District, to pay a visit.

On Tuesday, the Iranian delegation had met with the Defense Production Minister of Pakistan, Zubaida Jalal Khan, in Islamabad and visited the Pakistan Air Force facilities on Tuesday, including the Minhas Airbase in Kamra.
