Iran Press/ America: According to Iran press, this is the second emergency meeting of the Security Council on the crisis in Ukraine this week; the previous meeting was held on Monday night at local time at the request of Western members of the Security Council, but this time it will be held at the request of Ukraine, with Russia chairing the Security Council this month (February).
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who is in the United States, addressed the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, urging Russia to withdraw its troops from Ukraine and engage in diplomacy.
Speaking at the UN General Assembly as tensions escalated between his country and Russia over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions of eastern Ukraine, which have been recognized by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Ukrainian foreign minister said the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine will be the end of world order.

Ukraine's foreign minister has already met with the US President Joe Biden and White House officials.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a statement on his personal Facebook account, claimed that the Russian leadership had agreed to a military invasion of Ukraine.
Criticizing the West for not paying attention to Moscow's security concerns, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 21 that his country had recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's republics and signed cooperation and friendship agreements with their leaders at the Kremlin.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Duma called on Putin to recognize the independence of Donbass separatists from Ukraine.
The Donbass region in eastern Ukraine is made up of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, as well as several other Russian-populated regions, and the two provinces unilaterally declared independence from Kiev in 2014 after a change of government in Ukraine.
