Iran Press/ Europe: As tensions rise in Eastern Europe between Moscow and Kyiv has mounted, there have been numerous warnings about a possible Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Relations between the West and Moscow have been strained since 2014 on the four axes of NATO military influence, especially the United States near Russia and in Eastern Europe, the Ukraine crisis, the Baltic Sea, and the situation in Syria.
The West, which has always sought ways to pressure Russia as its rival superpower in the East, has sought new pretexts for escalating tensions in the region, claiming that Russian forces on the Ukrainian border pose a threat to the country.
If tensions escalate in Eastern Europe, the United States and its European partners have threatened to boycott Russia's financial system.
The Iranian embassy in Ukraine said: In response to repeated questions from Iranians living in the country about the possibility of tension and conflict on the eastern borders of Ukraine, asked them to remain calm.
The Iranian embassy in Ukraine stressed that the health and safety of Iranian citizens are very important for the embassy and has made it a priority for itself.
