Tehran(IP) - People of different strata attended the rallies either on foot or with motorcycles and automobiles, waving flags of Iran and banners in support of the Islamic Republic to mark the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.

Iran PressIran News: The rallies on the national holiday of “Bahman 22nd” began at 9:30 am local time across Iran on Friday, attended by people from all walks of life.

The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is celebrated on February 11 (Bahman 22nd according to the Iranian calendar) every year. The day commemorates the protests that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi regime and the establishment of the Islamic Revolution by the late Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace).
