Nuclear wastewater treated with domestic system in Iran

Tehran (IP) - Iranian nuclear scientists succeeded in defeating sanctions by designing a domestic system to treat the nuclear industry effluent and turn it into the water used in agriculture.

Iran PressIran news: This system converts nuclear industry wastewater into good quality treated water by performing two stages of treatment on the effluents.

Using two stages of environmental treatment and treatment using membrane filters is a significant advantage of this system in wastewater treatment and purification.

With the efforts of Iranian scientists at the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute, for the first time in Iran, the nuclear wastewater treatment system, which is sanctioned by the US, became semi-industrial.

This type of industrial wastewater treatment system exists in only three countries, the United States, Germany, and Japan, and today Iran is one of the owners of this technology.
