Tehran (IP) - Iranian President left Tehran to Moscow on Wednesday morning, following an official invitation from the Russian President in a two-day trip aiming to expand bilateral cooperation in political and economic affairs.

In Moscow, Raisi and Putin are supposed to discuss international, regional, and mutual issues at political, economic, trade topics.

Heading a senior delegation, Mohsen Rezaei, Vice - President for Economic Affairs, Mohammad Hosseini, Vice-President for Parliamentary Affairs, Issa Zarepour, Minister for Communications, Information, and Technology, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Foreign Minister, Gholam-Hossein Esmaeili, Head of the Presidential office، Youssef Nouri, Education Minister are accompanying the President Raisi during his trip to Russia.

Javad Owji, Minister of Oil and Iranian Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission who traveled to Moscow earlier, on Tuesday met with Nikolay Shulginov, Energy Minister and Russian Chairman of Iran-Russian Joint Economic Commission.
