Iran's roads minister meets Syrian Prime Minister

Damascus (IP) - The Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Prime Minister of Syria discussed increasing cooperation in economy.

Iran PressMiddle East: Today (Thursday), Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous met with the Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Rostam Ghasemi in Damascus to discuss increasing cooperation in economy, transportation, industry, electricity, and petroleum products.

The meeting stressed the need to create a program for economic synergy between the two countries and implement agreements and memoranda of understanding between the two sides in a way that benefits the two nations.

A high-ranking Iranian economic delegation headed by Rostam Ghasemi arrived in Damascus yesterday (Wednesday).

Upon his arrival in Damascus, Ghasemi stressed the Iranian government's commitment to developing economic relations with Syria and achieving real economic partnerships.
