Iran Press/ Asia: The 2021 Asian Karate Championships in all age categories (teenagers, youth, hope, and adults) in two sections of kata and Kumite started Saturday 18 December and is hosted by Almaty Kazakhstan.
At the end of the first day of the competition, the Iranian karatekas won 3 gold, one silver, and one bronze medal.
In the Kumite section, they won 3 gold, one silver, and one bronze medal, so that Iran reached a total of 6 gold, two silver, and two bronze medals on the first day.
