Vienna (IP) - Some political actors in the Vienna talks persist in their blame game habit instead of real diplomacy, said the Iranian deputy foreign minister.

Iran PressEurope: Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran's deputy foreign minister and head of Iran's negotiating team in Vienna, tweeted on Tuesday, referring to the process of lifting sanctions and saying: "We proposed our ideas early, and worked constructively and flexibly to narrow gaps."

Bagheri Kani added: "If there's real will to remedy the culprit's wrongdoing, way for quick good deal will be paved."

Iran and the five remaining parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) -- Germany, Britain, France, Russia and China -- began the talks in Vienna in April with the aim of removing the sanctions after the US, under President Joe Biden, voiced its willingness to return to the agreement.

During the seventh round of the Vienna talks, the first under President Ebrahim Raisi, Iran presented two draft texts which address the removal of US sanctions and Iran’s return to its nuclear commitments under the JCPOA. Tehran also said it was preparing a third draft text on the verification of the sanctions removal.
