Thousands of grooms gathered outside the Al-Saleh Mosque in Sanaa on Thursday to participate in the largest mass wedding in the country's history.

Iran Press/Middle East: The grooms were seen wearing extravagant garments and doing traditional dances at the mass wedding.

The crowd was addressed by the Leader of the Houthi Ansarullah movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

"Today, we congratulate us first and all the grooms and the Yemeni people as a whole on this great and blessed social occasion, the collective wedding, which is the largest and most massive so far, with 7,200 grooms and brides," stated groom to be wed Abbas Jahaf.
