Minsk (IP) - The sixth joint consular meeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Belarus was held in Minsk, the capital of Belarus.

Iran PressEurope: Mahmoud Adib, Consular Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and head of the Iranian delegation, met on Wednesday with  Alexander Khainovsky, Consular Director General of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Minsk to discuss the latest issues of consular cooperation between the two countries.

Expressing satisfaction with the deep relations between Tehran and Minsk, Alexander Khainovsky, Consular Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, also announced his country's readiness for extensive cooperation in expanding bilateral cooperation.

Exchange of views on visa facilitation for business people and drivers, the possibility of examining the issue of visa waiver for citizens of the two countries in the form of tourism groups, providing facilities and consular and accommodation services for Iranians living in Belarus, assigning extradition agreements, transfer of the convict's agreements between the two countries and the memorandum of understanding on consular and immigration talks has been an announced as one of the essential points of consultation between the consular officials of Iran and Belarus.
