A trilateral gas swap agreement from Turkmenistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan through Iran's soil was signed at the meeting of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan Presidents by two countries' oil ministers.

Iran PressAsia: According to the agreement, which was signed by the oil ministers of the two countries on Sunday night after the end of the bilateral meeting between Ebrahim Raisi and Ilham Aliyev, one to one and a half to two billion cubic meters (bcm) of gas will be transferred annually from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan.

"Turkmenistan will sell 5-6 million cubic meters of gas per day to the Republic of Azerbaijan under the agreement signed on the sidelines of the ECO Summit in Turkmenistan.
