Tehran (IP) - Iranian President received credentials of the new ambassadors from Italy, Spain and New Zealand .

Iran PressIran news: Speaking in a meeting with the new Ambassador of the Vatican to Tehran on Tuesday while receiving his credentials, Ebrahim Raisi said, "Today it is necessary for human society to pay attention to God and spirituality."

The President also said, "the concepts of the religion of Christ and what the Holy Prophet (PBUH) taught us should be discussed in scientific meetings to bring the views closer to each other."

Speaking while receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Tehran on Tuesday, Ebrahim Raisi said, "The current level of economic relations between Iran and Spain is not acceptable and efforts should be made to further develop these relations."

The President emphasized, "We are determined to develop economic, political, cultural and sports relations with Spain, and there are good capacities in the two countries to improve relations."

At the same meeting, the new Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Tehran conveyed the greetings of the King of Spain to President Raisi and said, "I will do my best to enhance diplomatic and economic ties between Iran and Spain."

Speaking on Tuesday while receiving the credentials of the new New Zealand Ambassador to Tehran, Ebrahim Raisi stressed the development of Tehran-Wellington relations.

At the same meeting, the new New Zealand Ambassador to Tehran said, "New Zealand, like Iran, is very concerned about climate change and I wish the Iranians success in their fight against coronavirus."
