Unknown people throw fire bomb at Iran's consulate in Hamburg

German media reported that unknown individuals attacked the building of the Iranian Consulate General in Hamburg.

Iran PressEurope: Deutsche Welle reported that unknown individuals had damaged the entrance to the Iranian consulate by throwing a Molotov cocktail. Police have launched an investigation into the motive for the attack.

According to the German newspaper 'Bild', the driver of a passing car noticed smoke in front of the Iranian consulate on the evening of Friday, November 19, and also saw two men who were speeding away from the place.

Local officials believe the fire was caused by a Molotov cocktail thrown by the assailant or assailants.

No one was injured in the incident, only the entrance to the consulate building was damaged.

According to German media, security officials immediately launched an investigation into the attack and did not rule out the possibility of political motives.
