Tehran (IP): The chairman of the board of trustees of the Lebanese Muslim Ulema Association said: "Unity is a rational and fundamental issue, so we must work on the unity of the resistance for the liberation of Palestine."

Iran PressIran news: Sheikh Ghazi Youssef Hanina in the closing ceremony of the 35th International Islamic Unity  Conference in Tehran highlighted that Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, introduced unity in the Islamic Revolution as an idea in Iranian society.

He mentioned the liberation of Palestine as an important need, adding:  Resistance without unity and vise versa, does not make sense.

"We may disagree with the Jews on some issues, but we are fighting with Zionists,  because every Palestinian, whether Muslim, Christian, or Jew, has the right to live in their land, but the Zionists have no place there,” he noted.

The official added:  "We emphasize the return of the Palestinian people to their lands."
