Tehran (IP) - Health Minister said that the Food and Drug Administration of Iran should seek help from the private sector to increase food safety, adding that electronic services would help prevent the entry of smuggled products into the country.

Iran PressIran news: "Food safety is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health and the Food and Drug Administration, therefore we must focus on these issues," Bahram Eynollahi said at the World Food Day meeting. 

He added: "We are facing oppressive sanctions and at the same time we were able to better control domestic food production that's because we have more control over our products."
