Dozens of political and religious activists gathered in the Pakistani capital to protest the inhumane crimes of the ISIS terrorist group in Afghanistan, chanting anti-US slogans.

Iran PressAsia: The rally was held on Sunday in front of the Journalists' Club in the city of Islamabad.

Participants, including religious and political activists affiliated with various groups, strongly condemned ISIS crimes against Shia worshipers in Kandahar and Kunduz.

The protesters condemned the United States and Israel as the main supporters of the terrorists involved in these inhumane attacks.

The speakers called on the international community, especially the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to take effective steps to defend the lives and property of the Afghan people.

Pakistani protesters lamented the silence of international human rights organizations and the rulers of Islamic countries in the face of the bloodshed of dozens of worshipers in Afghan cities.

Earlier, a Pakistani foreign ministry spokesman said, "Islamabad strongly condemns the heinous terrorist attack on a mosque in Kandahar province, which resulted in the loss of valuable lives and the injury of many others."
