Iran’s ambassador to Zagreb met with Croatia’s foreign and European affairs minister on Wednesday, discussing the issues related to bilateral ties, as well as regional and international developments.

Implementing the agreements reached by the two countries' foreign ministers in their recent New York meeting, expanding relations between Iran and Croatia, and the need for taking maximum advantage of the economic opportunities and capacities were the other issues discussed in the meeting.

The Croatian foreign minister appreciated Iran’s cooperation in the transfer of Afghan citizens to Croatia, expressing hope that the Vienna negotiations will be resumed faster and all sides abide by their commitments in the nuclear deal.
