Shiraz (IP): October 12th has been registered in the Iranian calendar as the commemoration of Hafez-e Shirazi, the famous Iranian poet.

He is also one of the most influential poets globally, and the Divan of Hafez is known to everyone in the world.

Hafez-e Shirazi's poems have been translated into various languages in Europe, and the name of this Iranian poet has been heard in the Western world as well.

In describing Hafez-e Shirazi, German poet Goethe called him a poet of world poets, an expert on Hafez ideologies told Iran Press News Agency.

The tomb of Hafez, located in Shiraz city in Hafezieh, is a place full of fragrance and beauty of flowers mixed with the passion of the poems. The Tomb of Hafez is one of the most important tourist attractions in Shiraz.

This year, with the increase of vaccination to control COVID-19 in Iran, tourists and those interested in Hafez were able to go to the tomb of Hafez-e Shirazi on the occasion of Hafez's commemoration day.
