Iran Press/ Asia: Massoud Amini-Tirani won the title of Best Cinematographer of the Year in Asia for his film "Wasteland" at the 15th Asian Film Awards held in Busan.
The film, directed by Ahmad Bahrami and produced by Saeed Bashiri, won the award on the evening of Friday, October 8, and Ahmad Bahrami, who is in South Korea at the invitation of the Busan Film Festival, received the award.
"Wasteland," which is currently being shown in Iranian cinemas and has received positive reviews from critics and audiences, was nominated for Best Director and Best Cinematography.
"Wasteland" is made in black and white and tells the story of working life in Iran.
The 15th Asian Film Awards ceremony was held during the 26th Busan International Film Festival on October 8 in South Korea.
