UN (IP) - Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations says the next meeting of the foreign ministers of Afghanistan's neighbors will be held in Tehran.

Iran Press/America: Majid Takht Ravanchi said in a UN Security Council meeting on Thursday that Afghanistan was currently transitioning to a critical era which was originated from the interferences of the US and other foreign forces as well as irresponsibility in their withdrawal from the country.

The US and other western countries that invaded Afghanistan, brought disaster for the Afghan people either when they entered or withdrew from the country, Takht Ravanchi added.

Taking into account the needs of millions of needy people in Afghanistan, Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations announced its country's readiness to facilitate the transfer of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan through ports, airports, railways, roads, and border crossings of Iran.
