Iran Press/ Iran news: The ceremony, which was aired live on Radio Farhang, was held to examine the common cultural and social capacities, get familiar with the heritage of civilization and cultural celebrities, study Persian and Tajik languages and literature, and introduce common traditions between Iran and Tajikistan.
Special guests of the ceremony were Dr. Abdul Rahmon Maroof, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Tajik Embassy in Tehran, and Professor Sarwar Bakhti, Director of the ECO Cultural Institute in Tehran.
Playing clips and songs from Iran and Tajikistan, the unveiling of books related to the cultural commonalities of the two countries, speeches by cultural officials, and guests attended the event were among the items of the ceremony.
