Palestine (IP) - The Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies reported that 33 children were detained last August, citing the continued detention of Palestinian children by Israeli militants.

Iran PressMiddle East: The center stated in a monthly report that 310 Palestinians had been detained on August, 33 of them children and nine Palestinian women.

According to the report, 1,000 Palestinian children have been detained since the beginning of 2021, 230 of whom are still in captivity.

According to the Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, the report states that the detentions in the occupied Al-Quds continued last month, with more than a third of the detainees (115 cases) from Al-Quds city.

Eight detainees also belong to the Gaza Strip, including six teenagers who crossed the barrier on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

Last month, seven journalists were also arrested for reporting the Israeli aggression against Palestinian citizens in southern Al-Khalil.

The center reported that 33 children, all students, were arrested last July.
