Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Friday called on Afghan groups to refrain from violence and fratricide.

Iran Press/Iran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh called on all Afghan parties to show restraint and adhere to the principle of dialogue to resolve disputes and reach a mutually satisfactory solution.

Khatibzadeh said: "Afghanistan is exhausted of the years of war and occupation, war, and violence, and therefore all groups must refrain from resorting to violence and fratricide."

Condemning any foreign interference, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson added: "The people of Afghanistan deserve a popular and inclusive government that reflects this country's demographic and ethnic composition."
