Iran Oil Minister meets West Asia CNPC Veep

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Oil Minister met with the Vice President of China National Petroleum Corporation and discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation.

Iran PressIran news: On Thursday, in his first meeting with foreign companies, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Oji met with the Vice President for West Asia of China National Petroleum Corporation International (CNPCI), Li Yingchang.

During the meeting, the development of bilateral cooperation was discussed, and the two sides emphasized the expansion of bilateral relations.

China's CNPCI has previously participated in developing the Azadegan field (southern Iran) and the North Azadegan oil field; the first phase of its development plan was put into operation in 2016.
