Tehran (IP) - The trial of two Swedish members of an international drug trafficking network was held in Iran's Revolution Court.

Iran PressIran news: Accused of drug trafficking, Stephen Kevin Gilbert and Simon Kasper Brown were tired in Iran's Revolution Court headed by Judge Abolghassem Salavati.

Stephen Kevin Gilbert and Simon Kasper Brown were members of an international drug trafficking network in Sweden, respectively being accused of trafficking 9.8 kg opium juice and 21k of the Tramadol tablets.

Gilbert said he was hired by Ahmad Zaedi, living in Sweden, and was about to receive money to transport the drug to the European country.

Brown also stated that she intended to use the proceeds from the smuggling of tramadol pills for personal gain.

The next court hearing of these defendants will be held soon, but the exact date has not been determined and will be announced subsequently.
