Khorasan Razavi - (IP) - Bajestan desert is the second playa in Iran with salt basins and is one of the unknown attractions of Khorasan Razavi Province.

The Bajestan Playa (Kavir-e Namak) is located southwest of Khorasan Razavi Province and south of Khalil Abad county and Bardaskan city, as well as west and northwest of Gonabad, Ferdows and Bajestan city.

Every year, based on the amount of rainfall in the Bajestan region, which is located in the southernmost point of Khorasan Razavi, a desert lake appears, most of which is salt, and after the lake dries, the salt crystals and sediments of the earth form amazing shapes that are very spectacular and attract tourists.
