Iran Press/ Europe: The press office of the Central Military District of Russia announced that two pilots of this fighter jet survived the accident.
The plane was heading toward a repair facility for maintenance when the incident occurred, the ministry said in a statement.
The two pilots on board were ejected safely and later found and hospitalized, both with broken arms, it added.
The Russian Air Force has suffered four air crashes in the past month.
